NBA on TNT Studio J Set | LeBron James Breaks NBA Scoring Record

On February 7th, 2023, LeBron James became the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s previous record of 38,387 career points. In a 38-point outing against the Oklahoma City Thunder, LeBron became just the seventh player to hold the record, 38 years after Kareem earned the title.

For this historic game airing on their network, Turner Sports wanted a custom look for Studio J, the set of Inside the NBA on TNT.

Fellow designer Rah’Mere Williams and I collaborated on a design that encompassed LeBron’s journey, across multiple teams and decades, to this monumental accomplishment.
